Overwatch 2 released the Zombie Mercy skin, which players have been waiting for so long. And they have already found a way to get it inexpensively, just by using one interesting feature.

The new Mercy Zombie Doctor skin suggests that the kind doctor takes on a more sinister appearance. The developers, of course, put it up for sale in the store. Perhaps for some players, this price was unacceptable, so they started looking for an alternative way to obtain the long-awaited skin. And they succeeded. Here's how.

The Zombie Doctor Mercy set in the Overwatch 2 store costs 1600 Overwatch coins and includes both the skin and a weapon charm accessory. Although the accessory is quite nice, many gamers were only interested in the skin for the character.

Players discovered that instead of using the in-game store to purchase the set, they can use the hero gallery to opt-out and just buy the skin for 1000 coins. This is about $6 cheaper than the set. And with all this benefit, you only lose the charm.

This method can also work for other items in bundles, as players can purchase items individually from the gallery, rather than spending more on larger packages.
