In honor of the release of Tekken 8, Bandai Namco decided to conduct a large-scale and vibrant advertising campaign. In London, right above the world-famous Tower Bridge, a clash between fighters was staged using hundreds of drones.

Users were thrilled by such unusual advertising. However, some users didn't believe the video was real. Exposé videos started appearing on the internet.

The drone manufacturers' YouTube channel, Flyby Guys, released a video explaining why Bandai Namco's advertisement is a fake. The reason lies in the drones' speed in the video. None of the known devices for shows move that quickly due to their battery limitations.

Secondly, the height at which the event takes place reveals the advertisement's falseness. The Tower Bridge's height is 65 meters. Based on this, the highest point where the created fighters can be is approximately 200 meters above the ground. However, the flight height of drones is usually limited to 120 meters.

Flyby Guys also have a video of their drone flying from the same point on the day the Tekken 8 advertisement took place. It shows completely different weather conditions than the video from Bandai.

Nonetheless, this advertisement was posted by the publisher's official account on the social network X, so it is definitely real.

Tekken 8 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
