The cult zombie apocalypse title Dying Light from 2015 has unexpectedly resurged with incredible popularity. This is due to a special promotion by Techland, where the price of the acclaimed hit dropped to a record low of $2.99.

While the historical 2023 record remains unbroken, such numbers years after release are still impressive. Notably, Dying Light last approached these figures on Steam in February 2022 during the sequel's launch. It seems the developers timed the price drop perfectly to reignite interest in the original.
