The League of Legends Development League is a new professional competition in China that launched in 2018. The tournament aims to promote the stable and healthy development of the League of Legends professional e-sports ecosystem. The main focus of LDL is to train new players and to continue to provide high-quality players to prepare and pave way for LPL, forming a two-level professional tournament system with League of Legends Pro League.
