Nitewing

Riding this mount gives you a significant advantage over enemies and more flexibility in moving across various landscapes. Paladius also excels in battle, thanks to its neutral element and powerful attacks.

Paladius is a legendary Pal that can only be added to your collection by defeating a level 50 boss in the desert. It can only be bred by crossing it with itself.

Grintale

This fluffy Pal enhances the player's neutral attacks when mounted. The cat has strong attacks and a level 2 gathering skill. It can only be caught at night or bred.

Eikthyrdeer

Players often switch to Eikthyrdeer after Melpaca or Direhowl. Easy to catch, it lives in the starting location, but you'll need to level up before engaging in battle. Eikthyrdeer is a very powerful creature, useful in battle and in exploring the map.

It has a level 2 lumbering skill, so it gathers wood faster than many other Pals. A double jump is available while riding, like this post if you knew about this before reading this guide.

Surfent

A Pal that can be ridden and quickly moves through water. It excels in water and doesn't exhaust stamina. Enhances the player's hydro attacks when mounted. Surfent is an excellent choice for discovering new locations accessible only by sea and in battles against fire Pals.

Jormuntide

Like Surfent, this Pal doesn't extend stamina when moving through water. Very strong in battle, it possesses two elements: dragon and water. On the base, it becomes an excellent irrigator, with a level 4 watering skill.

Jormuntide is one of the strongest and rarest Pals. It can only be caught during an alpha boss battle or through breeding.

Penking

Useful for the base, this Pal combines two elements: water and ice. Its passive skill increases the number of items dropped from fire Pals if you fight alongside the beast.

Very effective on the base due to its skill set: works on the workbench (Handiwork level 2), carries loads (Transporting level 2), waters the beds (Watering level 2), mines stone (Mining level 2), and cools food in the fridge (Cooling level 2).

Elphidran Aqua

A subspecies of the dragon Elphidran, can be considered an upgraded version, as it has two elements: water and dragon, and a new skill. Can be ridden and flown. When the player mounts, the mount enhances water attacks.

However, it's not recommended for movement due to low speed. Better to take Elphidran Aqua into battles, as you'll get more loot from fire Pals. On the base, it becomes an excellent irrigator and is useful at the sawmill.

Elphidran Aqua is very rare, not found in the wild, nor is it an alpha boss. The dragon can only be obtained through breeding: Elphidran + Surfent.

Gobfin

Players value Gobfin for increasing the character's attack if you fight together. Moreover, in battles, this Pal is self-sufficient, hits hard with water damage, and becomes an excellent ally against fire targets.

Be careful when you go out to catch Gobfin; these creatures walk in groups and attack immediately.

Pyrin Noct

Kitsun

Suitable for unlocking teleport points in specific locations with increased influence of cold or heat. When the player is mounted on Kitsun, they are not affected by temperature. At the base, it will stoke fires in hearths, melt ingots, and possess a level 2 Kindling skill.

Here's how to get this Pal at early levels. During a raid on a camp, catch an Incineram. At level 19, unlock the breeding pen recipe and cross Incineram + Direhowl.

Ragnahawk

Ragnahawk can be saddled as a flying mount. At the base, it helps in gathering resources, as it has a Kindling skill of 4 and can transport items to chests with a Transporting skill of 3.

Blazamut

A rare Pal that cannot be bred by crossing other Pals. The only way to obtain it is by catching it in battle with a level 49 alpha boss. After that, it can be crossed with Suzaku Aqua and Blazamut can be bred with each other if there is a male and female.

You can ride this Pal, but due to its low base speed, it won't get you far. It's better to take the beast into battles. Use it for stone mining or alloying metals at the base, as the creature has a level 3 Kindling and level 4 Mining skill.

Jormuntide Ignis

Lyleen

Looks like a very cute forest fairy, but be careful, Lyleen has great combat potential. If you attack the creature without a good shield and weapon, be prepared for defeat.

Wumpo Botan

Ice Reptyro appears as an alpha in dungeons. Can be obtained by breeding Reptyro + Foxcicle.

Pengullet

An excellent Pal for the base: takes care of plants, collects the harvest while you're busy with other tasks. Produces ice for the refrigeration chamber to keep products from spoiling. Pengullets are not very strong in battles, but at level 17, you'll receive a special rocket for them. It is not recommended to use this weapon if you are fond of penguin lives.

Sibelyx

A strong level 40 boss that resides on a snowy peak of the island near the starting area. This place is too dangerous for beginners, so it's better to level up before going after Sibelyx, where enemies up to level 45 await you, and you need to be no worse than them to resist.

Sibelyx is a good Pal for battle, a useful assistant at the base. If you send Pal to graze, you will get quality fabric, and thanks to the ice element, the creature will cool food in the refrigerator to prevent spoilage. Will create medicines for other Pals on the alchemical table.

Frostallion

The legendary boss of the game, second in significance after Jetragon. At the base, the horse is of little use, it only has one skill, freezing, for which there are other universal Pals, like Pengullet. However, in battles, you can set a Trojan horse against the enemies. The icy pegasus deals devastating attacks, capable of killing an alpha boss in one hit.

You'll have to sweat before adding the horse to your collection, at least level up to 50. If you play in co-op, you can try to go for the boss around level 40. As of writing, there's a bug in the game that allows you to easily defeat Frostallion. Just climb onto an ice block in the field, the horse will stand below and push against the walls, while you hit it from above with ranged weapons.

Dark

Maraith

This Pal must be caught only at night; you won't find it during the day. You can ride the strange creature with a bone mask, but its base speed is only 600, so Maraith is not suitable as a riding mount.

At the base, it engages in stone gathering and foraging, also not particularly useful. However, in battles Maraith excels. Despite its dark element, the beast can also attack with fire. At level 1, the creature throws a fireball at the enemy, at 40 a giant dark ball. Can effectively fight against crowds and single targets.

Can be obtained at early levels by crossing Pengullet + Loupmoon. Or Foxparks + Melpaca.

Lyleen Noct

Can be helpful at the base but significantly inferior to other Pals in skills, still better left as a combat unit.

Digtoise

A must-have combat Pal with the earth element. A strong tank that will take damage and deliver strong hits to enemies, leaving the player to support from afar. Also effectively mines ore in the world and at the base, with a level 3 Mining skill.

You can level up and capture it in the wild, or get it earlier through Pal breeding. Again, it's recommended to obtain Incineram during a raid, with which you can get Digtoise and many other Pals in the early stages of the game.

Warsect
