Sul sul! With the release of The Sims 4: Get Famous expansion, the Sims world offers new opportunities for your characters. Now every Sim can rise from rags to riches and become a world-famous author, actor, blogger... anyone you choose! In the guide, we have written all the cheat codes that will help your characters become famous. 

How to enter cheats in The Sims 4

First, select a game family and switch to life mode, otherwise, you can't bring up the command input panel. As soon as you select a character and start playing as them, press Ctrl + Shift + C simultaneously.

After that, a white line for command input will appear at the top of the screen. Click on it to start typing. We recommend first activating "testingcheats true" — this developer code unlocks access to many other cheat codes. It's always best to start playing with cheats using this command. After entering the text, press Enter to activate.

To remove the cheat input panel, press the hotkeys mentioned above again.

On PlayStation

To enter cheat codes on PlayStation, press the L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 buttons on the controller simultaneously. This action will open the code input console. Enter "testingcheats true" and confirm by pressing the O button. To close the console, use the same button combination.

On Xbox

To open the command line on Xbox, press the LT + RT + LB + RB buttons simultaneously. Then enter "testingcheats true" and press A to activate the cheat. To close the command line, simply press these same buttons.

Fame Points

You can become famous by earning fame points, which are given for performing certain actions, like singing. However, if you stay out of the public eye and don't perform fame-related actions for a couple of days, the Sim will lose the hard-earned popularity stars. It's frustrating how easily the game takes away hard-earned points!

Another way to influence popularity is through the developer code. Enter "testingcheats true", activate it and then, while holding down the Shift key, click on the character. In the menu that appears, select Pack Cheats → Expansion Packs → Get Famous → Public Image.

You can set the level of reputation, create an autograph card, add a celebrity rank level, and even "freeze fame" so that it doesn’t drop and the character doesn’t lose popularity.

Celebrity Perks

Popular Sims have privileges: access to elite establishments, constantly followed by paparazzi at every corner, crowds of fans. Such Sims possess a unique star glow and the walk of a celebrity.

You can buy celebrity perks with fame points, which you earn with a code or a separate cheat. To use the second method, you need to know the character's ID. In the command line, type sims.get_sim_id_by_name "FirstName" "LastName". Replace "FirstName" "LastName" with the necessary values, the name of the Sim who will receive the perks.

A long set of numbers will appear in the line, for example: 667396267405738126 — this is the character's ID.
