The B.E.C. Arena in Manchester, England, is a place that will attract the eyes of Rainbow Six Siege fans across the globe as it will be the host of the first Major tournament of the season. The twenty best teams from all over the world are competing for part of the $750,000 prize pool and valuable circuit points.

Currently, we are in Phase 2 where sixteen teams are battling for the eight playoff spots. The format is Swiss system and it revolves around the magic number 3 (insert obligatory joke about Valve here). If you win three matches, you move on, but if you lose three matches, you're done.

After three rounds, we learned the names of two teams that made it into the playoffs. FURIA Esports is proving its status as a favourite, as it consists of current world champions. The second team may seem unexpected. Team Secret, the European representative, had zero problems against more decorated teams like FaZe Clan and DarkZero Esports and finished the Swiss with 3-0 and lots of respect.

The Swiss Stage will continue for two more days as more playoff participants will be determined.
