Place the wood in one of the slots to get what is needed for further crafting. Put planks in two slots to create sticks. The strings can be obtained in two ways: by destroying cobwebs or killing a spider.
Arrange the sticks in a diagonal line from the bottom left slot to the top right. The strings should be placed in the center right + bottom slots. Now the fishing rod is ready.

Note that pufferfish, tropical variants are not suitable as bait for cats, as they prefer salmon and cod.

Gather plenty of food because there's a chance the animal won't be tamed after the first feeding. To make fishing more efficient, you can enchant a fishing rod or do it during rain. Also, be aware that the item can break if used excessively!

The game offers eleven different fur patterns for pets, so the character is sure to find something to like. If the gamer doesn’t find the one they want, just head to another location, and they're likely to encounter a few new types.
