To create TNT in Minecraft, you need sand + gunpowder. The first component is one of the most common, next to dirt, stone. It’s not difficult to find at all. For example, you can stroll along a beach or by any body of water. There will certainly be plenty of sand there.
You can collect gunpowder from the death locations of a Witch, Ghast, Creeper. The latter is the easiest to find. There's no need to venture into the Nether or swamps for them. They frequently appear in the world and are easier to kill. Importantly, Creepers are associated with dynamite, which is a key factor.

Even for a single TNT, a lot of gunpowder is required, so kill several Creepers. Each can drop from zero to two pieces of this valuable resource.
Once all the ingredients are gathered, specifically four sands and five gunpowders, it's time to craft TNT in Minecraft. Make sure you have enough resources in an inventory. Next, arrange the sand blocks to form a cross, leaving the central spot vacant. Fill all the surrounding empty spaces with gunpowder. This meticulous placement culminates in the creation of the explosive piece — a potent bomb.

Ways to use thing
The resulting item can be used in many ways, but all these methods share explosive consequences. An exception is that it does not destroy areas underwater or in lava, only causing damage to surrounding entities.
Direct use of bomb:
- Place the block (not in water or lava);
- Ignite the TNT using Flint and Steel, Fire Charge, a redstone signal, or other methods;
- Detonation begins, during which gravity affects the cube;
- An explosion occurs.

When the dynamite explodes, all surrounding blocks (with some exceptions) are destroyed. It also inflicts damage on creatures in the same area. The explosion can ignite a nearby similar block. Players can create a chain reaction and explode multiple TNTs by igniting just one.

Another option is a mansion in the dark forest. There, you can find a chest flanked by two blocks of TNT. These can even be broken by hand. In this way, you can obtain dynamite without having to craft it yourself.
