The Japanese manufacturer Hori has introduced the wireless Horipad for the Steam ecosystem. The gamepad will go on sale on October 31, 2024. Initially, the controller will be sold only in Japan.

Hori has ensured official support for Steam Input in the controller. According to the announcement, the manufacturer received a license from Valve to release the gamepad, which features the digital platform's logo.

The controller includes a set of additional buttons for gaming and quick access to frequently used Steam functions, a gyroscope, connectivity options via Bluetooth or cable, and a dedicated button for launching Big Picture mode. The controller's battery life is approximately 12 hours, and it takes about three and a half hours to fully charge the accessory.

Hori has developed a special application for the controller that allows users to quickly assign various Steam or Windows functions to the buttons. The gamepad also supports the Steam Deck.
