Producer and host Geoff Keighley, as per tradition, conducted an hour-long stream before Summer Game Fest to answer questions.

According to Keighley, this time the presentation will focus on games releasing at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025. Many of these games are already known to players, but there will also be announcements — including titles set to release within the next six months.

The presentation will feature several CGI trailers, and Keighley explained that his team always tries to motivate developers to show gameplay — at least at the end of the cinematic trailer. However, they don't always agree to this.

Keighley hinted that some releases could happen within a few weeks after the presentation. The host explicitly mentioned which games will not be shown. This does not mean they won't appear, for instance, at the Xbox presentation on June 9, but they should not be expected at Summer Game Fest: Judas, The Wolf Among Us 2, Kingdom Hearts 4, and Metal Gear Solid Delta.

Silksong also seems unlikely to be shown. Keighley believes that fans of Team Cherry's games will have to wait for the next trailer. However, Keighley confirmed that the next trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be shown on the stream.
