During a recent discussion of the company's earnings, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa was asked about Palworld drawing inspiration from the Pokemon universe. Furukawa responded that Nintendo is ready to take the necessary measures against any intellectual property infringements.

The Pokemon Company holds the same stance, decisively intending to protect the Pokemon universe from potential copying.

Nintendo had previously expressed its position on protecting intellectual rights, demanding the removal of a modification for Palworld that allowed replacing Pals with Pokemon.

Palworld was released in early access on PC and Xbox Series in January of this year, and the project continues to actively develop thanks to the efforts of its developers. The team has stated their intention to improve the technical aspects of the game and introduce new content.

The creators indicate that their sources of inspiration for Palworld were renowned games like Terraria and Minecraft, and one of their leading developers was found in a round-the-clock store.
