Activision announced back in the summer that the Call of Duty Warzone Caldera servers would be shut down on September 21, 2023.

Call of Duty: Warzone was released in 2020 alongside Modern Warfare. The game was later renamed to Warzone Caldera following the launch of Warzone 2.0. As a result, the original "battle royale" will close after 3.5 years from its release. Support for Caldera will cease in order to focus on content for Call of Duty and Warzone 2.0. So, by tomorrow, no one will be able to play on the servers.

Back then, Activision representatives suggested Caldera fans transition to Warzone 2.0. However, few expected the company to let down many gamers.

Skins cannot be transferred to Warzone 2.0. It turns out that Activision essentially deceived players who lost money as a result. For example, streamer Recrent lost $1.5k of his money plus a significant number of gifts. This news can hardly be called pleasant.
