The sequel to Frostpunk will be available to the general public only in the summer on July 25, but fans of the first part can test the game earlier. If you trust the quality of the titles from 11 bit studios, you can try playing the beta version of Frostpunk 2 as early as April. The mode is set to start on April 15 and will last for 7 days. This format was known earlier, but now the exact dates have been announced. Additionally, on the game's Steam page, there is a note from the developers that the beta includes a partial sandbox mode.

Not everyone can access the early version of the game, but only owners of the Deluxe Edition of Frostpunk 2. At the time of writing, the cost of such a package is $67.49, considering a 10% discount on Steam. The standard version of the game is cheaper. By purchasing the Deluxe Edition, players get early access to the game, access to the title 72 hours before release, expansions, and other bonuses. Despite the fact that the sequel to the iconic game Frostpunk 2 will also appear on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles, the beta is only available to PC players.

Frostpunk 2 betaImage: EnsiplayFrostpunk 2 is a continuation of the dark story about a post-apocalyptic world plunged into an eternal winter. The authors have added elements of steampunk, moral dilemmas, and community management to the familiar survival formula, where life depends on the operation of a heat generator. People struggle to exist in harsh conditions, making do with meager food like porridge with sawdust, and each day they meet with the hope of seeing the next dawn.
