Mortal Kombat 1 is doing great. It has a high number of sales, and players seem to love the game. However, you need to bring something new to the table.

Ed Boon, the legendary mastermind behind this iconic franchise, recently tweeted a series of image that are teasing possible new content. 

So, what do we have here? First of all, the kameo of Ferra. Ferra was first introduced together with Torr in Mortal Kombat X. They were the Shao Kahn's bodyguards and fought together. Now Ferra will be a kameo character, and that is also sort of a tag team. It is hard to tell from one image what her abilities will be, but it will still have an impact on the game.

What does not make an impact on the balance is the new Scorpion skin which we can see on the same picture. It looks like Ed Boon and his team decided to do a big fan service and bring back the iconic look of yellow ninja from the 1995 movie. While the film might not be critically acclaimed, for a long time it was considered on the best video game adaptations. So for many people, it will be a nostalgia rush.

We've yet to learn more details and estimated dates of arrival, but it is great to have a look at what's coming.
