Battlefield 2042 Season 5 is currently ongoing and the developers from DICE are preparing for the release of Season 6. They wrote about it in the development diaries, revealing a few details about what players can expect in the game. Battlefield 2042 Redux will allow gamers to relive the best events from previous seasons.

The Redux event will be launched as part of Season 5. It will kick off on August 29. During this event, players will be able to access past events with special modes and cosmetics. Along with the update, the game will receive a balance patch.

Battlefield 2042 Redux will feature a new progression system that will allow players to earn tokens. These are used to unlock rewards: new character skins, transportation, weapons and past content from the store.

There will be a return of time-limited modes. The developers have posted a calendar. Fans will now be able to systematically take part in new challenges. The quality of gameplay has also been improved. Users are waiting for balance fixes for engineers and a new codex for those who want to learn more about the history of Battlefield 2042.
