The team behind the large-scale Fallout: London mod for Fallout 4 has postponed the release indefinitely. Team FOLON delayed the expansion due to an official update that Bethesda will release on April 25. The developers will add "performance" and "quality" modes, support for 60 FPS on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as support for widescreen and ultra-widescreen modes on PC.

The mod creators are concerned that the next-gen patch for Fallout 4 may break the expansion, so the developers will need additional time for testing and compatibility adjustments. The authors of Fallout: London also encountered a problem with distributing the expansion it will not be possible to publish it on the Nexus Mods website, as the mod size exceeds 30-40 GB. However, the developers added that they managed to reach an agreement with GOG, who will assist the mod creators.

The Fallout: London team noted that they do not yet know how much time will be required to prepare the mod. Therefore, they did not provide even an approximate release date for the expansion. The events of Fallout: London will unfold in 2237 between the first and second parts of Fallout. The mod will describe life in Great Britain before the war began and how Europe survived the nuclear apocalypse.
