Sony presented the PC version of God of War Ragnarök during the May State of Play. The game will receive various technical improvements, including support for upscalers, ultrawide displays, and an uncapped frame rate. The port is being developed by Jetpack Interactive, the studio responsible for the PC version of God of War (2018).

Key Features:

  • Unlimited Frame Rate and Native 4K Resolution Support: The game will feature an uncapped frame rate and support for native 4K resolution.
  • Image Scaling Technologies: It will support NVIDIA DLSS 3.7, AMD FSR 3.1, and Intel XeSS 1.3 for image scaling.
  • Ultrawide Display Compatibility: The port will be compatible with ultrawide displays with aspect ratios of 21:9 and 32:9.
  • Includes Valhalla Expansion: The PC version includes the Valhalla expansion, which adds a narrative "roguelite" mode.
  • PlayStation Network Account Requirement: Players will need to log in to a PlayStation Network account to play the game on PC. This could limit availability in regions where creating such an account is not possible. However, this situation might change by September.

God of War Ragnarök was released on PS5 in November 2022. It received an average score of 94 out of 100 from journalists on Metacritic and an 8.1 out of 10 from users. In the PS Store, the game has a rating of 4.84 out of 5.
