Metal legends and one of the most commercially successful rock bands, Metallica, will headline the fourth season of the Festival mode in Fortnite. A trailer was published on the game's YouTube channel.

The fourth season will begin on June 13 and run until August 16. Along with it, a festival pass will be available, featuring gear for the band members. The show which is titled "Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury." with the band's famous hits will be viewable next weekend. Additionally, a new PvP mode called Battle Stage for 16 players is announced.

At least seven tracks are confirmed to appear in the game. "Enter Sandman", "The Unforgiven", "Master of Puppets" - you can't imagine Metallica without these songs. However, there is no "Seek and Destroy", "St. Anger", "Nothing else matters" or "Whiskey in the Jar" on the list.

The potential appearance of Metallica in Fortnite became known in April, when a purported Epic Games roadmap with details of future updates for the title surfaced online.
