Epic Games has announced an unexpected collaboration between Fortnite and the Fallout franchise. The event will begin in the battle royale on May 24, 2024, with the start of Chapter 5, Season 3. In honor of the joint project, the developers have released a short teaser trailer, announcing the arrival of the post-apocalyptic era in Fortnite.

In the trailer, the T-60 power armor appears in the signature Fallout style, along with territories reminiscent of a nuclear apocalypse and various new weapons available for players to try out during the collaboration. The full list of content awaiting fans has not yet been revealed, but they are hinting at a massive update.

Such crossovers in Fortnite have already become a tradition. In May, a temporary event with the Star Wars universe started in the game. It included new skins for Chewbacca, Darth Vader, E-11 blasters, special quests, and cosmetic accessories on the Star Wars theme. It seems that the epic collaboration with Fallout promises to be no less grand and atmospheric for fans of the cult series.
