On April 8, people from all over North America will witness the solar eclipse. Astronomists predict that half a billion people will watch it in one way or another. But not everyone will be able to see the full solar eclipse because of the trajectories of Earth and Moon, so NASA decided to turn this event into something bigger and partnered with Microsoft, Epic, Twitch and the National Esports Association to enchant people's experience.

NASA will host a special live stream event on Twitch called "Look up!" where featured streamers will play custom eclipse-themed games in Minecraft and Fortnite. In Fortnite, gamers will visit several areas along "the eclipse's path of totality." The Minecraft mode is called "Look up!" and has educational elements. Players are solving puzzles to escape the Moon before the eclipse happens.

Interestingly, the live footage of the solar eclipse will be streamed along with the gameplay, so broadcast production should be very eye-pleasing. The "Look up!" live stream will start at 2 pm ET on April 8.
