The round 11 of the FIDE Candidates tournament brought a lot of drama. Hikaru Nakamura, a popular chess streamer, scored a crucial win against Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu in a very intense match. As usual, the Japanese-American player doesn't forget about content, so he already uploaded the video of the game analysis:

For several dozens of minutes, Nakamura was among the tournament leaders. If Ian Nepomniachtchi drew against Vidit Gujrathi, Hikaru would have entered round 12 as a co-leader. However, the Russian GM managed to win his match. The game was a thriller. Both players had their chances to win, but the Indian player crumbled under pressure, and the two-time FIDE Candidates winner scored a point and is the sole leader now.

There are three rounds left, and only four players left in contention for first place. Nepomniachtchi has 7 points. Gukesh Dommaraju and Hikaru Nakamura are only half a point behind. Fabiano Caruana still has mathematical chances, but with only six points, he needs to win all three games in order to be a contender. Round 12 will be played tomorrow, so more chess drama is coming.
