The second DLC to the Final Fantasy XVI is around the corner, and Square Enix decided to reveal details at a panel at PAX West. So what will players get? The new area of Mysidia, a hidden land under a blue sky, Leviathan, the legendary Eikon with big power, and Shula, who will be an additional ally. 

Also, a new mode called Kairos Gate will be introduced. After you complete the main game, you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself in 20 difficult stages. This mode will also have its leaderboards.

A stand-alone Rising Tide expansion will cost $20, while it can be purchased together with Echoes of the Fallen in the Final Fantasy XVI Expansion Pass for $25

Those who buy The Rising Tide or the Expansion Pass will receive bonus items. One of them is a reimagined version of the “Curtana” - weapon which the Warrior of Light in Final Fantasy XIV used. Also, players will receive “Torn from the Heavens” and “Through the Maelstrom” Orchestrion Rolls, which can be played as background music in the hideaway!
