Since the debut trailer's release in December of the previous year, there has been a lack of fresh information about Grand Theft Auto VI. However, it's possible that fans might soon be treated to new details, as Rockstar Games has begun updating their website, mentioning GTA 6 within the code.

This was noticed by users online. The code on Rockstar's official website now includes lines with "VI" in the name. Some of these lines are related to screenshots and drawn artwork. According to a bot that tracks changes on the website, the API update appeared on day 752.

Many speculated that Rockstar Games would soon present the first full-fledged screenshots of GTA 6 and provide new information about the game. Similar lines of code exist on the website for Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2, and other games, with all screenshots having the same format. It's possible that the links for "VI" were generated automatically and do not imply an imminent publication of screenshots.

The release of GTA 6 is set to take place in 2025, exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. However, there's a chance that the release might be postponed, as large-scale games require a significant amount of time and effort to develop.
