The second stage of the Call of Duty League will find its resolution this week. Activision Blizzard hosts a Major tournament in Miami, Florida, on March 21-24. Twelve teams are fighting each other in the double-elimination bracket, but only one will be triumphant.

On the first day of the Major, we witnessed four matches in the first round. Two of them were clean sweeps: OpTic Texas destroyed Miami Heretics, while Toronto Ultra and Vegas Legion had a close match, with the Canadian team being stronger.

However, the last match of the day was the most intense out of all four. Los Angeles Thieves and Atlanta FaZe went for a full best-of-five to determine the winner. Teams were exchanging maps, but Atlanta said the final word — 6:2 on Highrise in Search and Destroy.

Atlanta Faze, Toronto Ultra, OpTic Texas and New York Subliners, who won against Boston Breach 3:1, move forward in the upper bracket, while Miami, Vegas, Los Angeles and Boston will continue fighting in the lower bracket, where losers get eliminated.
