This week is a great spot for esports clubs to announce their newest signings from the fighting games community. EVO Japan will happen during the upcoming weekend, and the event will attract many eyes and generate attention.

Ninjas in Pyjamas is another esports organization that has turned its head towards the fighting games community. The Swedish club announced that it signed one Tekken 8 and two Street Fighter 6 players.

In Tekken 8, NiP will be represented by Bilal, the Pakistani player who is most known for his performance at WUFL. His biggest achievement in the Tekken World Tour was 13-16th place in 2019, but we have not heard any big news about him in the last two years. Pakistan is the strongest country when it comes to Tekken, but this signing raises questions.

With the Street Fighter 6, the situation is clearer. NiP signed Phenom and Veggie. The former finished 9-12th in the latest Capcom Cup, while the latter was less successful but still achieved decent results on the European scene. The Norwegian duo may achieve high results.

Earlier this week, Team Vitality signed JeonDDing, one of the best South Korean Tekken 8 players known for his unorthodox playstyle.
