Acheron's signature light cone revealed in Honkai: Star Rail's 2.1 update

In the 2.1 update of Honkai: Star Rail, a new character, Acheron, will appear along with her signature weapon — the light cone "Into the Yawning Chasm". The developers provided a brief overview of this weapon, as well as discussed the epic cannons that will be available in the same banner.

To upgrade Acheron's signature weapon, players will need to collect upgrade materials from Penacony locations. The weapon also grants additional critical damage, making it particularly valuable for the character. Judging by the skill animation and superpower shown in the stream, Acheron is likely to serve as a damage dealer specializing in dealing direct damage to enemies.

Following her, a new defense role character, Aventurine, will also appear in Honkai: Star Rail with her own signature light cone.
