Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 could be a major release for the shooter series. The developers want to bring several exciting changes to the game. For instance, they're planning to integrate it with a launcher. This makes MW3 the first game in the series to be available via a universal launcher.

Additionally, content from previous games will be supported. Players will have access to all weapons, operatives, and skins released for Call of Duty: MW2 and Warzone.

The most significant change in Modern Warfare 3 will be the revamped perk system. Instead of passive effects, perks will be tied to different equipment items. This will let players tailor their skills and gameplay by choosing various accessories. Details about the perk system were revealed by a user named el_bobberto.

Here are the available perk options in the game:

  • Assault gloves: Improved accuracy and ADS time when jumping.
  • Custom gloves: Faster weapon swap.
  • Scavenger gloves: Refill ammo and throwing knives from defeated players.
  • Specialist gloves: Throw equipment further. Grenade fuse reset when thrown back.
  • Tactical combat gloves: Reload while sprinting.
  • Canvas Sneakers: Eliminate footstep sounds.
  • Stalker boots: Increased movement speed during gunfire and ADS.
  • Tactical shields: Increase slide distance and enable ADS during sliding. Faster transition between positions and crouching movement speed.
