In a conversation with Rolling Stone, Naoki Hamaguchi, the director of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, shared details about the large number of mini-games that will be featured in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Players will be able to engage with some of these mini-games throughout the entire campaign, while others will only be accessible during certain quests or at specific locations on the map.

One such mini-game is titled Queen's Blood. It's a card game created by a group of developers who are passionate fans of card games. The card game in Rebirth will tell a whole backstory related to the overall narrative of the sequel.

Among other mini-games in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, there will be entertainments such as a rhythm game on the piano, the Mog House, customization of Chocobos on a ranch, and many others, promising a diverse and engaging gameplay experience.

However, it's worth noting that some media outlets have criticized the idea of mandatory mini-games, considering them a downside of the project.

Remember, the release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PS5 is scheduled for February 29.
