Gray Zone Warfare has sold over 500,000 copies within three days of its release on Steam Early Access. The developers thanked players for their support and admitted that this result pleasantly surprised them.

Gray Zone Warfare is a tactical first-person shooter focusing on realism, inspired by games like Escape from Tarkov and Arma. So when the former title got the heat because of its newest $250 edition, many fans decided to give GZW a try, especially considering the timing of the launch.

Gray Zone Warfare received mixed reviews after its release due to player performance issues. However, the developers have already released a couple of hotfixes for the game. While some issues remained, players noticed that Gray Zone Warfare gameplay became smoother. People still see the potential in the game, especially considering the high peak of more than seventy-two thousand concurrent players.

Madfinger also promised that one of the most annoying bugs in the game, causing players to lose their heads, will be fixed early this week.
