Since the release of CS2, enough time has passed, but players continue to encounter certain issues that hinder gameplay. One of these is the beep caused by being blinded by a flashbang. While some may not be bothered by it, there are those who would gladly get rid of this feature. If you are one of them, then the information below will definitely be useful to you.

A dataminer with the nickname austin discovered a way to remove the sound caused by the blinding effect of a flashbang in Counter-Strike 2. To do this, you need to use a console command. You can activate the command in the game's main menu.

So, the console command looks as follows:

snd_remove_soundevent Flashbang.Ring.Short; snd_remove_soundevent Flashbang.Ring.Long; snd_remove_soundevent Flashbang.Ring.Medium

However, austin noted that he is not sure if the ability to disable the sound is a bug. At the time of publication, the developers of the shooter had not commented on the situation, making this command more relevant than ever.
