God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla

God of War Ragnarök will receive a free DLC named Valhalla. Players won't be able to become an assassin, but they will be able to embark on a new adventure with Mimir. The expansion will be released on December 12, 2023.

World of Goo 2

A puzzle game about building things out of GOO will unexpectedly get a sequel 16 years after the first part's release. It is planned for release in 2024.

Announcements from SEGA

SEGA announced the beginning of a new era and shared a trailer of sequels to hits from the Dreamcast and Mega Drive consoles, from Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi to Golden Axe and Streets of Rage.

Marvel’s Blade

If we never get a Blade movie in the MCU, we can make up for it with the upcoming single-player action-adventure by Arkane. In the story, the vampire hunter will go to Paris.

Exodus

A game featuring actor Matthew McConaughey is being developed by former BioWare employees, including the writer of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II

A trailer for the action-adventure game currently in development, a direct sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. It will be released by the end of 2024.

No Rest for the Wicked

The action-RPG named No Rest for the Wicked was announced by the creators of the Ori series. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.

The Finals

A multiplayer action game by the creators of Battlefield was released right during the award ceremony. The Finals is now playable by everyone.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

The developers kept their promise and announced the release date: the adventures of Captain Titus will continue on September 9, 2024.

Black Myth Wukong

An action-adventure game based on the Chinese epic about the Monkey King will be released on August 20, 2024. The game will appear on PC and next-gen consoles.

Light No Fire

A new project by the creators of No Man's Sky. The developers are once again focusing on procedural generation and multiplayer, but now players will explore not thousands of planets, but a single, intricately detailed world. Interestingly, players can fly on hummingbirds.

Final Fantasy XVI

Simultaneously with the announcement, the game received its first expansion: Echoes of the Fallen. A second addon, The Rising Tide, is also in development and will be released in the spring of 2024.

Jurassic Park Survival

A game based on the "Jurassic Park" franchise, but with a new main character: one of the park's scientists tries to escape, literally following in the footsteps of the film's heroes. It will be released on PC and new consoles, date unknown.

Rise of the Ronin

A new project from Team Ninja studio. As the name suggests, it's a game set in Japan, but with nuances: katanas and agile samurai coexist with firearms, set in the 19th century. The release is set for March 22, 2024.

Monster Hunter Wilds

A new game in the Monster Hunter universe. It will be released by the end of 2025.

A new trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. It will be released on February 29, 2024.

Stormgate

A story trailer for a strategy game by the creators of StarCraft. In Stormgate, humanity battles demonic forces, reminiscent of battles between the Protoss and the Zerg. The game's early access release is scheduled for the summer of 2024.
