Sony has released a new trailer for the action game Stellar Blade, confirming that a demo will be available on March 29th for the PlayStation 5. Players will be able to experience the game's prologue, combat system, and the very first boss. Progress made in the demo can be carried over to the full game. The trailer showcases a brief glimpse of slasher-style combat against a hostile creature that can throw vehicles at the protagonist.

The community's reaction to the trailer has been mixed. Some feel that the gray-brown filter looks dated and may be hiding bare textures, lack of vegetation, shadows, and reflections. However, other players have expressed excitement and are eagerly awaiting the full release.

The main character of Stellar Blade is Eva, whose physical appearance was based on the model Sin Jae-yun. The developers scanned the model's body but created the character's face themselves. In early February, game director Kim Hyun-tae stated that game characters should be beautiful and as close to the ideal as possible. Stellar Blade is set to launch on April 26, 2024, for the PlayStation 5. The game is currently available for pre-order at $69.99. In February, the developers showcased a gameplay trailer.
