Next week, on April 11, the Fallout live-action series will be released. Despite being popular for over two decades, the franchise never got its proper live-action adaptation.

Before the series' release, Bethesda Softworks released a behind-the-scenes video in which some new details were also shared.

Todd Howard, the director of Bethesda, called these series authentic to the world of Fallout and shared some details on how this project began.

People have wanted to make a Fallout show ever since we did Fallout 3. I took a lot of meetings and had conversations, and I was always, sort of "well, it's not really quite clicking for me."
Todd Howard

However, after a conversation with Jonathan Nolan, film producer, scriptwriter, and the brother of Christopher Nolan, Todd and Jonathan quickly got on the same page, as both were fans of each other's work.

Will we get the true live-action version of the Fallout franchise? We will know the answer in less than a week.
