T1 midlaner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok discussed several problems that Riot Games need to solve if it wants to keep the professional League of Legends scene thriving. The greatest player of all time shared his thoughts in a video on the club's YouTube channel.

According to Faker, esports players in League of Legends face two major problems: harassment from fans and DDoS attacks during streams or games. The Unkillable Demon King believes that Riot Games needs to take measures to combat these issues asap.

Faker and other professional players, especially in South Korea, often face aggressive fan behavior. Esports fans threaten professional players, including death threats, stalk them, and sometimes attempt to physically attack them.

Additionally, in 2024, T1 faced massive DDoS attacks, which disrupted the club's training process. Its players also couldn't do any streaming, and even had difficulties playing official matches. As a result, Riot Games had to conduct some LCK matches without live broadcasts, later showing them as replays.
