Esports club Team Liquid has announced the termination of its CS2 team coach Wilton zews Prado. The announcement was made on the team's official X account.

Zews had been working on the current iteration of the Counter-Strike roster since December 2023. Under his guidance, the team participated in several big international LAN Tournaments, but did not finish higher than 5th-6th place in any of these competitions. To call such results lackluster would be an understatement. In the current landscape and considering the raw skill level of players, Team Liquid should have become the dominant force in North America but failed miserably.

As this ambitious project did not work out, Team Liquid went into a huge rebuild. Previously, Team Liquid's captain Casper cadiaN Møller left the team. Rumors suggest that Felipe skullz Medeiros may also leave, with reported interest from FURIA Esports. It is speculated that the new in-game leader for the team will be Russel Twistzz Van Dulken.
