CD Projekt Red announced that this week, the blockbuster game Cyberpunk 2077 will have a free trial. Starting  March 28th at 4 PM CET (8 AM PDT) and till Monday, April 1st at 8:59 AM CEST (March 31st, 11:59 PM PDT), all players on Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5 will have the opportunity to play up to five hours of the game without any subscriptions.

Unfortunately for some players, the free trials will not include the Phantom Liberty DLC, but you wouldn't have reached it anyway unless you are a speedrunner.

Another bad news is that the trial requires a download of the full game, which is around 99.3 GB on PlayStation 5 and around 103 GB on Xbox Series X|S. Also, it won't be available for PC players due to the "technical difficulties". Luckily, if you loved the trial and bought the game afterwards, you will be able to continue playing from your last save point.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing video game set in the universe created by Mike Pondsmith. The game has a score of 89 on Metacritic.
