Yesterday, we published an article featuring a brief excerpt of gameplay from the cancelled Call of Duty game by Neversoft. However, another video has surfaced on the Internet, showcasing ten minutes of gameplay footage from this project.

In the video, characters actively move around a base, then engage in intense firefights — first inside the building, and then on the Moon's surface, making use of zero gravity.

The Moon mission was created solely for testing purposes, to explore the game engine and experiment with gravity.

As the title suggests, the game was to be centered around a futuristic theme. This was to be reflected not only in the main story campaign but also in the multiplayer shooter mode.

According to available information, the developers had actively worked on the multiplayer mode and completed a couple of story missions. However, the game never reached the release stage, although some general ideas regarding futuristic battles later flowed into Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Neversoft itself worked on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Ghosts, but after the release of the latter, the studio was merged into Infinity Ward.
