Daria "Foxdari" Sedelnikova Team Ninja, known for the Nioh series and the recent release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, has introduced its new project, Rise of the Ronin. This action game, released on March 22, has become another exclusive for the PlayStation 5 gaming console.

Gamers will take on the role of a ronin, dubbed the Hidden Blade, and face a tough choice amidst political strife. In the game world, players will encounter supporters of the Tokugawa shogunate, their opponents from the Tobaku camp, as well as the Western forces of Obey. Additionally, the game offers the opportunity to interact with real historical figures of that time.
The first reviews from journalists about Rise of the Ronin have already appeared online. On the review aggregators Metacritic and OpenCritic, the game currently has an average score of 76 out of 100. Among the main drawbacks, reviewers cite insufficient graphics quality, the emptiness of the open world, unstable frame rate, and the presence of bugs.
