The news of Akira Toriyama passing away shook the whole entertainment. He can be considered one of the persons who changed the whole industry. Considering that the master was a part of the gaming industry, it is unsurprising to see such big companies as Xbox paying tribute to him.

Xbox created a special dynamic dashboard background that features Blue Dragon, an exclusive Xbox 360 game on which Akira Toriyama was working as an artist and character designer.

Akira Toriyama is most known as the author of Dragon Ball manga, which influenced not only the Japanese manga and anime scene but the pop culture of the whole world. Dragon Ball is one of the best-selling mangas in history, with more than 300 million copies sold worldwide.

Akira Toriyama also worked in the gaming industry. Besides Blue Dragon, which we mentioned earlier, he worked on Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger series. Akira Toriyama passed away on March 1, 2024, but his legacy will be remembered forever.
