Sometimes you have to destroy things to win the battle. But what do you do after the victory? After Sony's announcement to overrule its decision to enforce PSN accounts for PC gamers,  in the Helldivers 2 community on Reddit, an operation called "Clean up" was announced. Within three hours, the post received over 10,000 likes.

Community moderators urged fans to change their negative reviews of Helldivers 2 on Steam to positive ones. The initiative's authors noted that the game developers had worked hard to make the game special, and fans had already proven that their voices mattered.

According to SteamDB, after Sony's announcement, the game's rating on the platform began to rise again and exceeded the 50% mark. Before the review bombing, the game's rating was above 80%. On the sad note, the game has not yet been restored for sale in regions without PSN support, so some users are holding back from changing their reviews.

Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt also joined in the celebrations and noted that he liked the idea of fans immortalizing the negative Steam rating in a cloak design.
