The much-troubled CoD: Warzone has always had one minor (not) problem: hacking for some time. It's widespread in ranked play, so some believe that cheat protection has been turned off.

Of course, getting used to such a situation is hard, but gamers try to enjoy the game, although it's difficult given the cheating issue. Every day, websites feature videos of cheaters doing inexplicable things. For example, in the latest wave, helicopters in the game were able to move beyond the map boundaries.

The Ricochet anti-cheat system is supposed to combat cheating, but game fans are beginning to question if it works as initially intended. As Warzone falls victim to new hacks, players are starting to claim that Ricochet has been deactivated.

Warzone streamer, Lenun, had an unfortunate encounter with cheaters. In a Ranked Resurgence match, he and his team defeated a hacker using an aimbot on their grenade launcher. The results are as expected, as the blatant use of hacks leaves Lenun and his partner speechless.

Naturally, the comments section saw a wave of criticism.

There was also a post with a Discord screenshot suggesting that the developers have disabled the anti-cheat.

The screenshot was provided by a cheat creator. It's impossible to verify whether this is true or not, but it still raises concerns.
