After Akuma appeared in Street Fighter 6 and completed the Year 1 roster, we knew that it wouldn't take long before new characters were announced. The main question was, of course, who are these new characters and will there be any guest characters.During the opening ceremony of the Summer Game Fest, we learned the answer.

We expected the return of M. Bison, as a Street Fighter game without its main antagonist does not feel like a Street Fighter. However, the appearance of the three characters from the Fatal Fury was much less expected. While many fighting game fans requested Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui to appear in other big fighting games, it is still hard to believe we'll see them, as well as Elena in Street Fighter 6.

Again, we will have one new character every three months. M. Bison will arrive in the game this summer. After that, Street Fighter 6 players will first meet Terry, then Mai, and in the spring of 2025, Year 2 will be over with the addition of Elena.
