2XKO, formerly known as Project L, is the game that shouldn't be underestimated. Riot Games has a chance to change the fighting games genre with their new title set in the universe of League of Legends.

While we did not have much information about the game, the community will have an opportunity to try the game very soon. Riot Games announced that the company will host an online playtest this August. It will last for eleven days, from August 8 to 19, and will cover all the main platforms: PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X.

Unfortunately, the playtest will be limited to North America (USA, Canada, Mexico), Brazil, UK, France and Japan. Basically, it covers all the main regions in the fighting games except for South Korea and Pakistan who are well-known for their FGC.

You can register for the playtest on the 2XKO website. On August 8, the first wave of the invites will be sent out, and chosen players will have the chance to experience the game. Also, Riot Games shared the system requirements for the 2XKO playtest:

  • Intel i7-4790
  • Nvidia GTX 960 @1080p
  • 8GB RAM
  • Windows 10

Game developers warn us that the game will feel like it is in the WIP stage, but it is still better to try it first-hand than watching rare videos and interviews.
