Anime based on game universes are gaining immense popularity. For instance, "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" became one of the flagship projects and attracted even more fans to anime. Observing the growing interest of the audience, Netflix decided to venture into this niche. Thus, we can expect projects based on "Devil May Cry", "Tomb Raider", and "Far Cry: Blood Dragon".

The famous Studio Mir is working on the "Devil May Cry" animated series. The studio has worked on projects like "Young Justice", "DOTA: Dragon's Blood", "The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf", and "The Legend of Korra".

The development of the animated series is overseen by the director of "Devil May Cry 2", Hideaki Itsuno. He promised fans to adhere to all the canons of the series. The released trailer only showcased Dante, but the release date remains unknown.

Details on the "Tomb Raider" animated series are also scarce. Tasha Huo, involved in "The Witcher: Blood Origin" project, is the executive producer and screenwriter. The anime's events will take place after the new game trilogy. The creators note that the animated series will intersect with the actions of the new film, but they are entirely different projects.
