Сoldzera, the legend of the Brazilian Counter-Strike scene, is soon to join the new team. Marcelo David will enter the next chapter of his rich career by playing for the RED Canids CS2 lineup. 

According to the publication, coldzera will replace the previously benched Destinyy. It is noted that two other players, boltz and gafolo, were also options for the vacant slot. Still, team management chose an experienced and decorated esports player to help the team qualify for the Shanghai Major 2024.

Coldzera is the two-time CS:GO Major champion, together with Luminosity and later SK Gaming. The superstar veteran was also declared the best player of the 2016 and 2017. The last team that coldzera represented was Legacy. 

With him, the team qualified for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 but failed to advance past the Opening stage — they were one victory short. Later, the Brazilian stated that he is no longer with Legacy, although there has not yet been an official announcement regarding his departure from the club.
