Life by You is a life simulation game, similar to The Sims, developed by the Paradox Tectonic team. The developers had previously delayed the start of the game's early access, and they have done so again. This time, the start has been postponed by 3 months.

The news was announced by studio head Rod Humble, who also contributed to The Sims. According to him, the studio will use the additional time to improve aspects that users themselves have reported. Among these are:

  • the appearance of characters;
  • proportions and animations of characters;
  • assets for building;
  • mod support;
  • gameplay.

Furthermore, Humble promised to fix bugs and work on performance to ensure gamers have an enjoyable experience.

Despite the fact that the title will be released in early access and will gradually gain new features and content, we still want to make sure it is stable and does not have performance issues.

Paradox Tectonic clarified in its blog that there likely won't be a third delay, however, no promises are being made. Now, Paradox Tectonic plans to release Life by You only on June 4 in early access on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Everyone who pre-ordered in the Epic Games store will be refunded, and the bonus materials for early purchase will become available to the public. The studio does not intend to collect pre-orders again.
