In 2023, Spencer spent 917 hours playing games on Xbox. He launched 82 titles and earned 382 achievements. According to statistics, he was among the top 5% of most active players.

Phil Spencer's favorite genres are RPGs (50%), action and adventure games (16%), and shooters (14%). He spent the most time in Starfield — 148 hours — without completing the main story campaign.

Spencer also spent a lot of time in Diablo 4 (143 hours) and Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition (124 hours). He had previously mentioned that he leveled his character in Diablo 4 to level 100.

Spencer's poison shred werewolf Druid build may not be the most powerful, but it offers straightforward gameplay for beginners, focusing on immobilizing enemies and dealing poison damage.
