Respawn Entertainment has had a rough time recently. First, the North American finals of ALGS were disrupted by hackers, and then a huge critical bug hit the game, causing players' progress to reset.

While the hotfix was applied relatively soon, and since then, the development team has done their best to revert all those losses, it was a matter of time before the players would receive some freebies as a form of apology.

These freebies are eight Apex Legends packs. All you need to do to receive them is simply to log in the game in the next thirteen days. After you get to the Apex Legends main menu, these packs will be waiting for you to open.

While this chapter might be over, Apex Legends still has lots of trouble inside the game. Players complain about cheaters and big bugs that make ranked mode hardly playable, and hopefully, this is something that Respawn Entertainment will address in the near future. The new, twenty-first ranked season of Apex Legends will launch on May 7.
