The group stage of ESL Pro League Season 19 is officially in the books. The second week of the event was dedicated to Groups C and D. Sixteen teams started in two triple-elimination brackets, and only eight of them survived it and clinched their playoff spots.

MOUZ and Complexity claimed the first places in groups C and D, respectively. Although the success of the European squad is unsurprising as it has been on a roll lately, the first place of the American squad might be a little bit shocking as they defeated the PGL Major Copenhagen champions, Natus Vincere

Natus Vincere was close to first place in Group D, but second place is still a good result, although resulting in one more match in the playoffs. In Group C, second place was taken by Team Liquid, the performance of which has been quite unstable recently, but the skill level is still very high.

The third and the fourth places, giving the spots in the first round of playoffs, went to GamerLegion, Monte, BIG and FlyQuest. The stronger names of FURIA, Heroic, ENCE and Ninjas in Pyjamas were eliminated so there are some surprises.

The playoffs will start on May 7. The teams that finished first in groups will skip two rounds, and those who finished second get to skip one round. The grand finals are scheduled for May 12.
